Principal's Message

Welcome!

These are some very exciting times as we are getting ever so close to opening up our school to receive its first students this coming September. The construction process is nearing completion and we are hurriedly getting the building filled with furniture and equipment along with staffing our facility for the year ahead.

This school opening has been a long time coming for the communities of Langdon, Indus and surrounding areas. I’m sure that parents have been advocating for a high school in Langdon going back to even before one was built in a centralized location in 1961 what is now Chestermere High School, and we will be happy to open the doors to one to students this September.

As our school is nearing construction completion, our journey to establishing our school culture, traditions and norms will be beginning. We will be working together with our students, staff and school community to create policies and procedures that will serve our school well and will be thanking everyone in advance for both their input and patience as we do this very important work. You will notice that much of our school website will say "coming soon!" and we would rather it look this way for the weeks and months ahead than to rush and force fit items that won’t honour our school for the long run.

We are looking forward to the luck continuing to pour over our students, staff and school community as they enter Horseshoe Crossing High School in the school year ahead!

Sincerely,

Jordan Fenton, Principal
